Senior Brand Manager
Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands including Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. Since launching over two decades ago, we’ve built multiple sales channels across DTC websites and third-party marketplaces. We’re passionate about designing inspiring, on-trend furniture that brings customers’ home décor dreams to life.
We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead strategy, positioning, and growth across one or more of our brands. This role will play a critical part in driving performance, ensuring brand consistency, and identifying opportunities to scale within a fast-moving, multi-channel environment.
Role Overview
The Senior Brand Manager owns brand strategy and performance across digital and marketplace channels. This role partners cross-functionally with Marketing, Advertising, Analytics, Operations, Innovation, and 3P teams to align positioning, drive revenue growth, and strengthen brand presence across all customer touchpoints.
This is a highly strategic, performance-oriented role for someone who can translate insights into action and influence across teams.
Responsibilities
Lead brand strategy and positioning to ensure clear differentiation and market relevance.
Own and evolve brand messaging frameworks across DTC and marketplace channels.
Partner with Marketing and Advertising to develop campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
Collaborate with 3P teams (Amazon and other marketplaces) to ensure brand integrity and performance alignment.
Work closely with Analytics to interpret performance data and guide growth strategies.
Identify customer insights, category trends, and competitive dynamics to inform brand direction.
Partner with Innovation to align new product initiatives with brand positioning and go-to-market strategy.
Contribute to pricing, assortment strategy, and channel prioritization decisions.
Support forecasting, revenue planning, and performance targets for assigned brand(s).
Prepare and present strategic recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership.
Mentor and guide junior team members as applicable.
Drive continuous improvement in brand processes, planning, and execution.

Requirements
7–10+ years of experience in Brand Management, Marketing, or related field
10+ years preferred
Proven experience leading brand strategy for consumer products
Strong understanding of e-commerce and marketplace dynamics
Experience partnering with Advertising and Analytics teams to drive performance
Ability to translate data into strategic recommendations
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience influencing cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience in furniture, home goods, or consumer lifestyle brands
Experience in DTC and marketplace-driven businesses
Experience scaling brands in high-growth environments
