Operations Analyst

The Operations Analyst will play a key role in supporting inventory availability, warehouse performance, and logistics execution through data analysis and operational insight. This position serves as a centralized analytical resource for warehousing and logistics, helping transform operational data into actionable KPIs, reporting, and recommendations that improve service levels, inventory positioning, and overall operational efficiency.
This role partners closely with warehouse operations, logistics, inventory planning, and leadership teams to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time while proactively identifying operational risks, constraints, and opportunities across the fulfillment network.
Key Performance Measurements
This position is evaluated on the ability to:
Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate operational KPIs and reporting on a scheduled basis
Monitor inventory availability, placement, and flow across warehouses and logistics channels
Identify and clearly communicate operational issues impacting service level, availability, cost, or efficiency
Support data-driven decision making through timely, accurate analysis and recommendations
General Responsibilities
Own the construction, monitoring, and ongoing refinement of KPIs related to warehousing, logistics, and inventory performance including inventory accuracy, availability, fill rate, backorders, turns, and capacity utilization
Monitor inventory positions across locations to ensure product is appropriately allocated to support demand, service level targets, and fulfillment efficiency
Identify gaps in product availability, excess or imbalanced inventory, and operational bottlenecks while providing root cause analysis and recommended actions
Partner with warehouse and logistics teams to support operational planning, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Analyze inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse flows to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to labor efficiency, space utilization, and throughput
Support cross-functional collaboration with inventory planning, purchasing, customer service, and leadership teams to align operational execution with business priorities
Build and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports that provide visibility into operational health and performance against targets
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to operational reporting, KPI definitions, and analytical processes
Serve as a trusted analytical resource for leadership by translating complex operational data into clear, actionable insights
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in an analyst, operations, supply chain, or logistics-related role
Experience working with operational or supply chain data, preferably in warehousing, logistics, or inventory-driven environments
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data integrity
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to explain operational insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work based on business needs
Comfortable balancing recurring reporting responsibilities with ad hoc analytical requests
