Looking for a local CDL job with a schedule you can count on? Maxwood Furniture is hiring an experienced Class A driver based in Charleston for dedicated drayage runs between the Port of Charleston and our Marion distribution facility. This is a full-time company driver role—not an overnight or OTR position.

The Schedule & Pay

• Starting at no less than $27/hour
• Monday–Friday, typically 4:00 AM–12:30 PM
• Home daily, with weekends off
• Dedicated port-to-distribution-center routes
• No-touch freight and drop-and-hook operations
• Driver bonus opportunities for qualified drivers

Actual finish times may vary with port operations, traffic, and other road conditions.

What You'll Need

• Valid Class A CDL and at least 5 years of Class A driving experience (commercial insurance requirement)
• Valid TWIC card
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Ability to meet DOT physical and drug screening requirements
• Reliable, safety-focused driving and on-time performance
• Port or drayage experience preferred; familiarity with the Port of Charleston is a plus
